World Water Day – Let’s protect it together!

Today is World Water Day, and at Sanatmetal we believe it is important to mark this occasion. Although much of our daily work is focused on precision and innovation, as individuals and as a team we also feel responsible for protecting the values we all share.

Why is this important to us? Water is the foundation of life, and here around Eger we are especially fortunate to have excellent water resources. We believe that a responsibly minded community – whether individuals or companies – has a duty to protect this treasure.

What can we do in everyday life?

Even in precision manufacturing, we strive to optimize technological water usage. A good example of this is our anodizing machine’s cooling system, which was previously operated with flowing drinking water. We converted it into a closed-loop system with a custom-made water cooling unit. Thanks to this development, we save 300 m³ of drinking water every month.

In addition, we pay attention not to leave the tap running unnecessarily, and we aim to reduce waste in our offices and shared spaces as well. We value the clean water that may seem natural to us, but is a precious resource in many parts of the world.

Let’s make a small pledge today: let’s pay more attention to every drop. Because the health of the future depends on the decisions we make today.
