Did you know that one of the most important “fuels” in manufacturing is compressed air? At Sanatmetal, we strive for maximum quality when it comes to implants, and the compressed air required to operate the machines that manufacture them is produced by compressors.
Recently, the air supply system of our trauma manufacturing plant underwent a complete renovation:
- Modernized network: we replaced 10 meters of the main pipeline with modern aluminum piping, and the internal network connectors were also replaced.
- Leakage reduction: we minimized air leaks in the network, so our two variable-speed compressors now operate with almost no loss, requiring significantly less energy to deliver the same performance.
- Longer service life: through regular maintenance, we prevent the premature wear of components, reducing the amount of industrial waste.
- Smaller CO2 footprint: more efficient operation directly means lower electricity consumption and a lower environmental impact.
